Effective date: May 11, 2026

Access Agreement

By using FormatJSON, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Nature

FormatJSON is a free, browser-based tool for viewing, formatting, validating, and querying JSON. All processing happens locally in your browser — no JSON is sent to or stored on our servers.

Cost

The service is provided at no charge. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time without notice.

User Accountability

You are solely responsible for the content you paste, load, or type into FormatJSON, and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, even though we neither view nor retain your input.

Disclaimers

FormatJSON is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any output, including parsing results, formatting, or JSONPath query results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormatJSON and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FormatJSON after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
